About The Position

The potential candidate under minimal supervision and following established policies and procedures will conduct a variety of tasks supporting the analytical laboratory. They will also set up and conduct tests following experimental procedures in accordance with specification requirements under environmentally controlled conditions. They must be able to design, conduct experiments, and be able to produce consistent and repeatable results. Assistance in data reduction and report generation is also required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Apply knowledge of analytical chemistry applications.
  • Apply knowledge of DSC, TGA, HPLC, ICP, GC, UV-VIS, FTIR instrumentation.
  • Ability to follow ASTM’s, Military Specifications, and Weapons Specifications.
  • Ability to obtain US security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint.
