Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Material Requirements Planning Analyst. This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Rolling Meadows, IL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS).
Requirements
- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or other business-related majors.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Knowledge of Northrop Grumman values, practices and standards. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
- Working knowledge of MRP/ Supply Chain
- SAP working knowledge.
- APICS CPIM &/or CSCP certification.
- Problem Solving ability and developing solution acumen to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
- Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
- Frequent internal company contacts across multiple functions.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure materials and equipment are available to customers per purchase order and schedule delivery dates.
- Create Manual Requisitions via the direction of material needs groups such as Engineers and Developers.
- Track Purchase Orders from placement through delivery.
- Notify customers/management team promptly if a critical delivery is going to be late.
- Assisting in the resolution of non-receivables.
- Assisting the Engineering team with Capital projects by providing detailed status updates.
- Attend staff bi-weekly meetings and other meetings as necessary.
- Other responsibilities related to material needs analysis
