This position reports to: Production Engineering Specialist Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the creation, update, maintenance, deletion, and delivery of master data while ensuring that it is consistent and trustworthy. Each day, you will provide support for master data management processes. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in programs to optimize business functions through data driven insights. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mebane, NC. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring that master data integrity, cleansing, normalization, and quality is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within scope of responsibility. Assisting in the overall solution of quality issues by participating in the elimination of non-conformance and adopting the approach of ‘doing it right the first time’. Documenting, reviewing, and updating all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of data policies and system maintenance. Participating in the development, updating, and maintenance of procedures, tools, and metrics.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience with SAP & Windchill (preferred), or a minimum of 5 years’ experience with SAP & Windchill.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), GPML(Windchill) and material master data processes.
  • Technical understanding of BOM structures, fabrication, and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, SCM, Fabrication, and Purchasing.
  • Familiarity with Lean Core Tools and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
