Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) – Remote

Requirements
- Active California AMFT registration required
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related qualifying field required
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/telehealth environment
- Must be able to participate in required clinical supervision
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or outpatient clinical settings preferred
- Familiarity with IOP and PHP levels of care preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and assist with biopsychosocial evaluations
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans under appropriate supervision
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically indicated and within scope of practice
- Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups within IOP/PHP settings
- Provide case management and assist with coordination of community resources
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members
- Participate in crisis intervention and risk assessment under appropriate clinical supervision
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EHR systems
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Advocate for clients and support engagement and participation in treatment
- Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
- Practice within the scope of an AMFT registration and California Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements
