Associate Manufacturing Planner
About The Position
Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner (Level 2) to join the E4B team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configurations. The candidate will also assist in identifying tooling requirements, processing tooling orders, and investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues. Responsibilities may include collecting data for producibility assessments, assisting in developing work statements, and reviewing/maintaining internal documents. The position requires working under close supervision.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in team environment
- 1+ years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
- 1+ years’ experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities
- Build technical data packages for use by suppliers.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
- Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement.
- Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
- Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
- Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines.
