About The Position

This role focuses on creating and maintaining production build documents, assessing and resolving production risks, and recommending process enhancements. The Associate, Manufacturing Engineering will ensure manufacturing processes are followed, implement and analyze manufacturing plans, and design/develop manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems. The position also involves developing manufacturing strategies for specific products, coordinating with engineering for new product releases, estimating manufacturing costs, determining time standards, and maintaining records for manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains production build documents including but not limited to work instructions, routers, and work order notes.
  • Assesses production risks and issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals and objectives.
  • Recommends enhancements to work centers and processes.
  • Ensures manufacturing processes are followed on projects.
  • Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
  • Design develops and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
  • Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
  • Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
