Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering degree in: Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural, or related degree
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Milling Science, Food Science, or related degree (for MEA Milling roles)
  • Graduating in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with General Mills (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).
  • Applicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Build your capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
  • Gain front line exposure to 24/7 production to leverage problem solving and learning agility while driving improvements and eliminating losses.
  • Learn from and lead Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow your coaching, team building and people-development skills set.
  • Manage programs to gain experience in capital project ownership, new system startups and / or initiative leadership.
