About The Position

Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies, participating in integrated product teams, assisting with manufacturing plans, and resolving technical problems. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, quality, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret and Yankee White)
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works
• 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as quality, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements
• Experience with the following software: CAPP (MeSci), GoldEsp, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, CATIA, ENOVIA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
• Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
• Assist with the implementation of manufacturing plans
• Co-author the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for the build
• Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Participate in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
• Work with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
