About The Position

Beaches Tanning Center is seeking full-time Associate Managers for its Utah and Salt Lake Counties locations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and an interest in a management career. The position involves teaching and mentoring others, with a focus on goal achievement. Associate Managers can expect to earn an average of $20-$26 per hour, plus uncapped commissions and bonuses. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Basic grammar, math, and computer skills.
  • 1 year of shift lead/keyholder/supervisor experience, or at least 6 months of Beaches employment.
  • Flexible schedule and must be available to work 30 hours per week including mornings/nights/weekends/holidays.
  • Constant moving, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, and bending over to clean a tanning bed for up to 8 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Support the Assistant and Store Manager in achieving goals and responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean facility.
  • Assist in keeping team members on task.
  • Strive to maintain high performing sales and customer service.
  • Support and assist the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in cleaning, training, customer service, and any other assigned tasks.
  • Resolve or escalate customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Support company marketing efforts with approved language and visual displays/social media.
  • Learn to set and follow up on shift goals, then coach and train others on sales expectations.
  • Uphold a strong sales performance and lead by example.
  • Report and address employee issues with upper management (tardiness, dress code, unprofessional behavior etc.).
  • Attend and participate in company meetings; assist in delivering corporate content to the store associates (promotions, policies etc.).
  • Participate in preparing for store meetings; be willing to conduct training/coaching segments during store meetings.
  • Share the responsibility of personally covering uncovered shifts, whether it is weekends, holidays, or days off.
  • Monitor traffic to determine staffing needs; contact store manager when overstaffed.
  • Conduct bi-monthly inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the inventory controller.
  • Attend weekly management meetings to review numbers, store operations, and strategy.
  • Report and follow through on maintenance issues.
  • Maintain overall store cleanliness and check daily chores while on shift.
