About The Position
Develop and maintain Java-based applications in support of PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention. Projects include expanding the integration of Okta in Sabre for migration; migrating applications from Java 8 to Java 11 and 17; implementing SAML2 migration for single sign-on; and removing application vulnerabilities detected by Veracode. The role also serves as a consultant and advisor to other application developers on the team.
Requirements
- Skills in at least one automation tool, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
- Experience with Java backend development, including SOAP and REST.
- Commanding knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Spock, Groovy, or other testing tools and frameworks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle management and Agile/SCRUM methodology.
