About The Position

Bristlecone’s SAP Planning – Delivery department seeks an Associate Manager to own the end‑to‑end SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Response & Supply Order Series. The role combines deep Order‑Based Planning (OBP) expertise with strong client‑facing skills to design, implement, and optimize supply‑chain solutions, mentor junior consultants, and ensure delivery excellence for our global customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP IBP, specifically Order‑Based Planning (OBP).
  • Proven track record of leading SAP IBP implementations at a lead/associate manager level.
  • Strong customer‑facing experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of supply‑chain concepts, demand‑supply balancing, and inventory optimization.
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP CPI) and SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset, analytical skills, and a collaborative team orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • SAP IBP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – IBP) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and configuration of SAP IBP Order‑Based Planning models for client engagements.
  • Act as primary technical and functional liaison with customers, translating business needs into IBP solutions.
  • Manage project delivery timelines, scope, and quality for Response & Supply Order Series initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering skill development in OBP and SAP IBP best practices.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams on OBP processes and system usage.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate IBP with ERP, demand planning, and logistics modules.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, solution blueprints, and knowledge‑base articles.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support pre‑sales activities, including solution demos, proposal development, and technical presentations.
  • Stay current with SAP IBP roadmap, industry trends, and emerging supply‑chain technologies.
