About The Position

SoFi is seeking an experienced insurance sales manager to join the SoFi Protect business and lead a team of licensed agents. SoFi Protect is the in-house insurance agency that helps members meet their Home, Auto, and Life Insurance needs. The Associate Manager will lead personal lines agents in delivering sales and service through email, chat, text, and phone, and help members navigate coverage conversations. This is a fast-paced, developing part of the business, and the manager will help establish processes and functions that shape how insurance is sold at SoFi.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience selling Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Proven experience managing a team.
• Strengths in hiring, coaching, performance management, and team member development.
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively within the team, department, and cross-functionally.
• Valid, active state license in Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible, with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to sales agents and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve agency sales goals.
• Coach and assist agents on best practices when engaging prospective and current members by phone, email, text, and chat.
• Oversee the full insurance sales lifecycle, from intake and quoting through fulfillment, using the agency’s panel of insurance providers.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and help close coverage gaps.
• Contribute to improving the business by identifying problems and helping establish core processes and functions.
