About The Position

e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Manager, Production to join their Creative team. This role will support the day-to-day management of photo and video productions from pre-production through post-production. The position involves ensuring shoots run smoothly, timelines stay on track, and problems are met with creative solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and eager to work behind the scenes to bring creative concepts to life. Responsibilities include working closely with internal creative and production partners, as well as external vendors and freelance talent, supporting shoot logistics, budgets, travel, call sheets, retouching workflows, and final asset distribution.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a production coordinator, operations, or project management within beauty, CPG, or fashion/lifestyle industries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple timelines, vendors, and deliverables simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate across creative, operations, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with project management and production tracking tools (e.g., Asana) and design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to anticipate production challenges, propose proactive solutions, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to growth through giving and receiving constructive feedback and making adjustments accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative work: Laying out/updating decks for leadership review, facilitating NDAs and proper filing for all vendors and partners, keeping track of crew statuses, updating usage calendar, creating SOP for external partners, keeping a detailed file of all deal memos, managing Production Job Folders, and ad hoc tasks as requested by manager.
  • Pre-Production: Reaching out to agents and teams to check availabilities and holds, maintaining booking trackers, booking travel and accommodation, creating and maintaining project budgets, managing permitting, submitting EQ and production supplies lists, making and sending call sheets, organizing catering, and maintaining a stocked production kit and product suitcase.
  • On Set: Managing a high level of professionalism, managing all PAs on set, overseeing set up and breakdown, keeping track of crew hours and NDA signatures, managing all product, distributing shot lists, ensuring all printed/reference materials are accounted for, keeping track of products shot, and ensuring the set is organized and presentable.
  • Post-Production: Filing and verifying invoices and receipts, marking up retouching notes, organizing rounds of retouching notes, and supporting on asset distribution to cross-functional partners.
