About The Position

The Associate Manager of Pipeline Analytics and Operations supports data analysis and operational processes that advance business objectives. The role focuses on improving efficiency through effective use of data and process management, and contributes insights that support strategic planning and operational workflows.

The position conducts foundational analysis and reporting, creates visualizations, supports information and data quality practices, and assists with project coordination, process optimization, communications, and resource management. It also uses AI development tools to create scripts for data analysis and visualization. The role collaborates with teams and provides data-driven information to support project decisions and organizational priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical, scientific, or business management-related discipline and 4+ years of professional work experience, preferably in project coordination, system-based processes, or the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; alternatively, a master’s degree.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute successfully in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and represent sound strategies.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to present and logically justify proposals; sound judgment; ability to communicate across cultures and disciplines; relationship-building and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in project management and business operations tools and techniques.
• Good technology skills, including project management software and business intelligence tools.
• Experience with or knowledge of the drug development process is preferred.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms is preferred, including using AI to develop scripts, automate workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and accelerate data and analytics solutions.
• Basic project team leadership experience is a plus.
• Database management and querying experience is highly preferred.
• Customer service or systems support experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analyses to identify trends and anomalies, generate insights for pipeline project decisions, and prepare summaries for senior management.
• Create visual reports and presentations that communicate insights and performance metrics clearly to different audiences.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude Coding to develop scripts for data analysis and visualization.
• Support data management practices, collaborate on effective use and maintenance of data tools, assess data practices, and assist with data quality standards and procedures.
• Coordinate strategic project tasks by tracking progress, managing schedules, maintaining resource logs, and collaborating with colleagues to address challenges.
• Support business operations by ensuring processes run efficiently, identifying and implementing process improvements, and coordinating deployment of systems and tools.
• Compile routine reports for project tracking and operational planning, ensure data accuracy and relevance, communicate findings, and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
• Support communication among project teams by coordinating meetings, preparing discussion materials, and distributing project updates.
• Assist with resource management, support development of predictive models for resource allocation, review resource needs, and provide input to senior managers.
