About The Position

The Associate Manager Pharmacy directs workflow across multiple back-end departments to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. The role advises on strategies for implementing major back-end projects and plans in support of organizational goals. This position supports Omnicare, which will operate as an independent, standalone organization following its sale by CVS Health; the employee hired for this role will be employed by Omnicare.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day; sit or stand seven to ten hours per day; lift up to 25 pounds; operate office equipment using finger dexterity; see and read fine print; hear normal voice sounds; and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate processes and assignments for supervisors and individual contributors to achieve the Back End OCR area's goals.
Advise the team on policies and procedures to support compliance and organizational goals and objectives for Back End OCR.
Analyze operating metrics and performance against established objectives and advise on corrective action for areas of risk.
Ensure compliance with government regulations.
Develop a communication strategy to maintain efficient back-end operations throughout the organization.
Establish payroll and courier cost parameters.
Conduct performance appraisals to support employee development.
Manage team operational matters, including budget, performance, and compliance, and implement workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
Advise on strategies for implementing major back-end projects and plans.
