This position supports payor contracting activities, including reviewing, redlining, and assisting with negotiations for commercial and government payor agreements. The role involves managing and monitoring a portfolio of payor contracts, ensuring contract performance, implementation accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include analyzing claims payments, reimbursement trends, and operational issues to identify risks and support resolution efforts. The Associate Manager will serve as a key liaison between physician practices, revenue cycle teams, legal, analytics, and other internal stakeholders on contracting and payor-related matters. Additionally, the role requires conducting market and legislative research, leveraging strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to support contracting strategy and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare operations, payor contracting, contract administration, project management, or process improvement.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and process improvement skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, analyze performance data, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
