The Associate Manager, Junior Tour - Americas and China will support the Global Racquet Sports Strategy on Junior and Tour across the Americas and China, ensuring Wilson is recognized as the number one tennis brand on Tour. The role supports the end-to-end management of the Junior Tour across both regions, including athlete roster strategy, day-to-day athlete operations, and on-Tour execution. This position plays a key role in supporting elite athlete development and managing the transition from junior to professional levels, positioning Wilson as the leading end-to-end technical, performance, and global brand partner across hard-goods and soft-goods through best-in-class equipment, servicing, and athlete brand development support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing, business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in tennis.
  • Strong passion for tennis with excellent tennis knowledge and scouting ability.
  • Deep understanding of the junior and professional tennis ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to identify talent and evaluate long-term potential.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with athletes, coaches, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Fluent in English required.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~75 days/year).
  • Based in Chicago or within the United States (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Competitive or coaching background preferred (in tennis).
  • Experience working with or for tennis brands (sports marketing, events, or athlete relations) is a strong plus.
  • SAP knowledge is beneficial.
  • Additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, French) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute athlete strategy and day-to-day management for Junior Tour players, ensuring best-in-class service and long-term performance development.
  • Support scouting, negotiations, signings, renewals, and athlete relationships across hard-goods and soft-goods.
  • Contribute to building a future-facing athlete pipeline, with strong emphasis on early talent identification (U10–U16).
  • Work in close partnership with the Regional Pro Tour Manager to build and maintain the strongest roster and tennis ecosystem across the regions.
  • Manage racquet testing, Pro Lab collaboration, and performance feedback loops with Product teams.
  • Maintain regular strategic alignment with the Regional Pro Tour lead to ensure financial discipline, development continuity, and a strong junior-to-pro athlete pipeline.
  • Act as project lead for athlete experiences at key Junior Tour events, including product orders, logistics, look and feel, and overall project success.
  • Own Tour platforms, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Deliver regular updates and insights on pipeline development, athlete performance, and competitive landscape.
