Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 3-6 years prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field in a consumer products environment is required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Ability to assess, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from sales and customer data is required.
  • Ability to craft impactful presentations to explain recommendations and findings of analyses, resources, and studies are required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience preferred with syndicated data, such as Nielsen or IRI Circana.
  • Prior experience with JDA or other space planning software is preferred.
  • Prior Health and Beauty Care (HBC) category experience.

Responsibilities

  • Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources including, but not limited to- Retailer POS data, Syndicated Data (Circana), Marketplace and HH Panel Assessments to independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to deliver sales objectives.
  • Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results.
  • Uncover transformational Omni Category insights and solutions for our customers / shoppers / consumers that deliver on critical metrics for instore and online.
  • Lead category presentations at assigned customers.
  • Develop assortment optimization recommendations for online and in-store by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights.
  • Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing and track competitive activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
  • Build customer relationships and serve as a trusted category partner, providing support during POG Line review process.
  • Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go to market initiatives and to provide an understanding of the external marketplace.
  • Find opportunities to deliver on strategic seasonal priorities for the business.
  • Develop, utilize, and share best practices to improve functional efficiency and accuracy of findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure that data is organized, reported and error-free when devising data sets through careful review and refinement prior to running analytical tests.
  • Align with company policy and procedures at all times.
