About The Position

Gotham FC is seeking an Associate Manager of Growth & Retention for a temporary assignment. This role is crucial for actively reaching new fans and engaging current fans. The ideal candidate will be both creative and data-driven, responsible for executing key engagement channels and reporting on their success. The position is based at Gotham FC’s business office in Jersey City, NJ, with a hybrid work schedule (three core in-office days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; two non-core days: Monday, Friday, with the option to be remote). As this is a temporary role, a fully remote position is possible, but being in the NYC/NJ Metro area is ideal for in-office collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equitable experiences/certifications.
  • Experience using data analysis software.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to review and distill complex data and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, and email marketing best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software.

Responsibilities

  • Support key growth goals for single game ticket sales, group sales lead generation, and season ticket sales.
  • Structure, manage, and optimize email and SMS programs, including manual sends and automated, personalized content for specific segments.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Team to manage and ensure accuracy of CRM segments for tailored communications.
  • Develop new lead generation tactics and a testing roadmap (e.g., pop-ups, online forms, giveaways).
  • Manage CMS updates, planning, and optimizations for the website to ensure accuracy, functionality, brand alignment, and drive YoY growth for ticketing goals.
  • Build a roadmap of A/B tests across marketing channels and share results and learnings.
  • Strengthen marketing tracking programs by building UTMs and using tools like Google Analytics and Tableau to report on the fan journey.
  • Own weekly marketing reporting on email, site, SMS, and other digital channels, highlighting learnings and areas for improvement.
