About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager to join our Consolidations and External Reporting Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Consolidations, you will take on greater independent responsibility for key components of the consolidated close and IFRS reporting process, while continuing to operate within a structured review and sign-off framework. A key distinction of this role is serving as the primary administrator and day-to-day point of accountability for the FCCS consolidation platform. This position is well-suited to a finance professional looking to deepen their technical reporting expertise in a listed-company environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidations, or external audit; experience in a publicly listed or large multinational environment is preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of IFRS, including experience preparing IFRS financial statement disclosures.
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation tools such as Oracle FCCS, Oracle HFM, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently within a defined review framework.
  • Able to manage competing deadlines during close and reporting periods with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional accounting designation preferred but not required (CPA or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with AI tools or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in a finance or accounting context is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Take on greater independent responsibility for assigned workstreams within the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial close, proactively flagging issues and escalating to the Senior Manager as appropriate.
  • Prepare the IFRS Statement of Cash Flows and non-IFRS Free Cash Flow (FCF) schedule with a higher degree of autonomy, including period-over-period commentary, for review and sign-off by the Senior Manager.
  • Prepare IFRS disclosures for quarterly and annual reporting cycles with increased independence, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency with prior periods.
  • Support data integrity of the Financial Closing and Consolidation System (FCCS), including mapping validation, and governance tasks under the direction of the consolidations governance lead.
  • Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for U.S. legal entities with reduced supervision, supporting the U.S. Controllership team and escalating accounting or completeness issues to the Senior Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and tie-out packages for quarterly earnings releases and annual report filings, working closely within the reporting team.
  • Support the U.S. Controllership function in maintaining accurate accounting records for U.S.-based legal entities, providing assistance on routine accounting matters.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
