About The Position

As an Associate Manager, Community & Belonging -Social Impact located in Birmingham, AL , you will be the central driver of our HQ engagement, external community partnerships, and employee volunteerism. Your charge is to build a workplace where employees are empowered to live out our company values through meaningful service, high-impact volunteerism, and strategic community partnerships. While no two days are the same, you will lead the end-to-end execution of our annual employee volunteer strategy, plan large-scale logistics for events like our Month of Service, and cultivate long-term partnerships with external nonprofits. You will act as a natural "rallyer" to recruit employees, design seamless service opportunities for a hybrid workforce. Lastly, you will meticulously track volunteer hours and budgets, and create compelling internal communications that highlight our community stories and inspire action.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), event management, employee engagement, or volunteer coordination
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding engagement goals or similar KPIs
  • Experience managing hybrid programming (virtual and in-person) for a distributed workforce
  • Experience managing program budgets and tracking complex impact data
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to "sell" a cause and effortlessly build trust and excitement across all levels
  • Knack for organization and detail, understanding that the success of a large-scale volunteer event lives in the details of systems, logistics, and timelines
  • Strategic driver and an experienced project manager who is proactive in engaging employees while navigating multiple high-priority deadlines and long-term goals
  • Technically savvy, highly proficient in Google Suite (especially Sheets), and leverage AI and visual design tools (like Canva and Slides) to support your work
