About The Position

The Associate Manager, Cloud Infrastructure focuses on cloud and on-premise deployments of Dynamics 365, including related configurations, Azure DevOps setup, Azure services configuration, and environment monitoring and maintenance. The role designs and implements AX systems and cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networking, security, and systems-management architectures and solutions to enable effective client operations and collaboration.

The position executes project and program plans in alignment with operational objectives. Work is coordinated across workstreams, processes, or projects and involves complex problems spanning work domains, requiring judgment and autonomy within established plans. The role works under general guidance, supports junior colleagues, and may serve as a Career Advisor. Work efforts can immediately affect Avanade or client operations; client-facing work may support client relationships and sales outcomes.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create build automation and/or build guides for repeatable server builds and deployments.
• Deploy enterprise-wide messaging and collaboration solutions to reduce administrative costs and improve end-user productivity.
• Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and systems requirements; coordinate with others to ensure plans and solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
• Monitor performance and analyze statistics to identify and resolve system problems.
• Establish and maintain security, including AX Security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documentation.
• Design AX technical infrastructure and its integration into the customer's existing environment.
• Work with Customer IT Operation management.
• Design performance frameworks and high-availability architectures, and design and run performance benchmarks on critical business transactions.
• Coordinate work across different workstreams, processes, or projects.
• Support more junior colleagues on work efforts and may serve as a Career Advisor.
