About The Position

Reporting to the VP and Chief Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting litigation and discovery processes across the organization. You will manage legal holds, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure compliance with discovery workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing detail-oriented tasks with problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required; legal studies or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in litigation support, legal operations, or a similar role.
  • Preferred experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, or with an e-discovery services provider.
  • Strong understanding of e-discovery management, litigation processes, and discovery workflows.
  • Strong understanding of e-discovery tools for data collection, processing, document review, and secure transmittal of data and documents, such as Relativity and Microsoft 365 e-discovery tools.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing operation of legal holds and use of third-party legal hold system (Exterro) to manage and track compliance with legal holds, including communication with custodians, IT, outside counsel, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage e-discovery processes to support litigation matters and responses to subpoenas, including document preservation, collection, data transfer, and review processes.
  • Coordinate with IT, HR, in-house legal team, other corporate functions, third-party e-discovery vendors (such as Epiq), and outside counsel to facilitate discovery and litigation-related activities.
  • Support litigation team’s matters and as needed, the broader in-house legal team’s matters, including coordinating with outside counsel, third-party vendors (such as Epiq), IT, and other corporate functions on discovery and investigations.
  • Support proactive management of discovery and litigation-related expenses, coordinating with corporate procurement employees, discovery vendors, and manager as needed.
  • Support tracking and reporting on discovery-related spend.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices for e-discovery project management.
  • Make recommendations for process improvement, where appropriate.
  • Other support activities as directed by manager.
