About The Position

Genesis Family Inc., a Christian, biblically based mental health nonprofit, is hiring an Associate Licensed Therapist for its Central West Houston location. The therapist provides mental health care, typically seeing approximately 5–6 clients per workday and no more than 30 clients per week when working full time. Sessions are one hour, and the role includes completing client notes and other administrative duties. Therapists may also choose to specialize in an additional area, such as marketing, clinical research, or volunteer work for the nonprofit. The organization serves families and clients across different ages and demographics, including children, teens, young adults, and married couples. The therapist must be willing to provide both in-person and telehealth care, although most clients attend in person. The organization does not provide crisis calls or interventions and emphasizes respect for employees’ time off and work-life balance. The position is available part-time or full-time, with a minimum of 24 hours per week. The stated schedule includes weekday and Saturday operating hours; therapists initially need to work Saturdays and receive another day off during the week. After onboarding and meeting targets, Monday–Friday scheduling may be an option. The starting salary is $4,583.30–$6,600 per month ($50,000–$80,000 per year), depending on license and experience, based on a 40-hour workweek.
