About The Position
Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to providing life-changing care. This Associate Degree Internship is designed for individuals pursuing their Associate's degree, offering hands-on client interaction and opportunities to enhance professional skills. Interns will gain experience in public speaking by presenting data and leading team meetings, develop proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and analysis, and learn data visualization and storytelling through creating presentations.
Requirements
- Working toward an Associate's degree in public health, social sciences, or related field.
- Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Ability to work with data; detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience interacting with clients.
- Enhance professional skills of public speaking through presenting data.
- Facilitate by leading team meetings.
- Gain experience and training on Microsoft Excel.
- Learn to clean and analyze data sets.
- Learn data visualization and storytelling through creating one pagers and other presentations.
