This role facilitates new hire orientation, departmental orientation, employee competency training, and annual regulatory training. It also involves maintaining required documentation of staff in assigned areas, assisting with departmental quality assurance, and process improvement. The position provides remedial training as needed to improve quality results and ensure quality standards are met. It is involved with the departmental quality program, targeted improvement strategies, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction data. The role provides performance input on departmental staff regularly and assists with service recovery efforts. It provides training and quality control to employees in designated departments, customizing curriculum and developing training materials to meet organizational and stakeholder needs. The specialist develops staff skills to support learning, builds strong working relationships, manages projects, facilitates change processes, and communicates effectively to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities include the delivery of software-based classroom training utilizing adult learning principles and methods. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Windows applications, analytical decision-making, information gathering, presentation, group facilitation, innovative problem-solving, and strong training skills are essential. Flexibility, effective planning, organizational, and communication skills (personal, verbal, written, and electronic) are also required. The ability to function in a collaborative, fast-paced, customer-driven organization is necessary. The role on-boards new employees, provides continuous training for current employees, and develops and implements quality projects to meet patient satisfaction standards.
