About The Position

The LRS Retirement Solutions group is seeking an Associate IT Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure and Technical Services (ITS) Team. Retirement Solutions has delivered innovative pension administration software since 1987. Our flagship product, PensionGold , is a web-based application built on a service-oriented architecture using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. PensionGold runs on Microsoft Windows Server environments and is deployed for customers in both physical and virtual infrastructures. Solutions may be installed on premises or fully hosted. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, technical environment and has hands-on experience supporting Microsoft-based enterprise systems. The ITS Team supports both customer-facing and internal environments: Customer environments (hosted and on premises) running PensionGold , including Production, Test, and Disaster Recovery. Internal environments supporting Product Development, Implementations, and Product Support teams. In this role, you will set up, configure, and support Microsoft server environments—both physical and virtual—and install and maintain PensionGold and related business extensions (e.g., imaging and workflow). The ITS Team works with a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and virtualization platforms from Microsoft and VMware. You will be expected to stay current with existing technologies and quickly learn new tools used by the PensionGold platform.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Supporting and maintaining IT systems using Microsoft Server and Workstation operating systems
  • Microsoft SQL Server , and IIS
  • Working with relational and multidimensional database management systems
  • Administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS
  • Virtualization technologies (Microsoft or VMware)
  • Core Microsoft infrastructure services, including active Directory , Group Policy , DNS, DHCP, and WINS

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering and troubleshooting complex infrastructure in large server environments
  • Working knowledge of scripting tools (e.g., SQL scripts, PowerShell)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
