About The Position

The Associate, Investment Operations & Administration has a broad knowledge of the business and acts as the first point of reference for day-to-day queries as well as serves as a liaison to related areas. They work on activities and projects involving committees and/or senior management and may sometimes include the end-client. The incumbent focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures, while building towards becoming an area expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Preferred
  • 5+ Years Experience in Investment Industry either in Operations, Back Office support or field Financial Consulting or equivalent. - Required.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.
  • Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Knowledge of and ability to bring a reported problem to successful resolution.
  • Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): BA team - 7, 63, 65 or 66 (some need for 24) required - Required.
  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Ops team FINRA 7 and 66 and Life and Health insurances required - Required.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.
