About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking experienced Associates to join our Leveraged Finance team as part of our Corporate & Investment Banking Group. In this role, you will pitch and execute debt transactions in Syndicated Bank, Institutional Loan, and High Yield Debt Capital Markets. You will engage in Best Efforts transactions as well as in Corporate and Sponsor Underwriting activities for event-driven transactions. You will analyze companies and their Capital Structure, make recommendations to clients, and identify opportunities for process improvements within the Investment Banking Program. You will also review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium deliverables. You will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, and interact with internal and external customers.

Requirements

2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
Individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance; MBA or CFA a plus
