About The Position

This role involves conducting detailed financial analysis on individual, privately held companies to assess investment opportunities. Responsibilities include forecasting financial statements, valuation analysis, market and competitive analysis, returns analysis, and unit economics. The position requires preparing detailed investment committee memoranda, presenting investment theses, and interacting with senior management at companies. Additionally, the role involves performing quarterly valuations, assessing future capital needs, assisting with business development, attending board meetings, and evaluating exit opportunities. A key aspect is researching and developing expertise in trends, themes, and business models within the infrastructure investing sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related Investment and Portfolio Management role.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing detailed financial analyses using knowledge of GAAP accounting, asset valuation techniques, leverage, and industry benchmarks.
  • Two (2) years of experience presenting detailed investment analyses to internal committees.
  • Two (2) years of experience building strong relationships with investors, companies, and vendors in the Private Investing eco-system.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with various common equity and preferred equity structures and terms and applying them to individual investments.

Responsibilities

  • Attend board meetings and assess exit opportunities.
  • Research and develop expertise around various trends, themes, and business models across the infrastructure investing sector.
