About The Position

Goldman Sachs Alternatives, part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, focuses on bringing together traditional and alternative investments to provide clients with a dedicated partnership and long-term performance. As a primary investing area within Goldman Sachs, we offer investment and advisory services globally, leveraging our extensive network and expert insights. The Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management has invested over $16 billion in growth-stage and technology-driven companies since 2003, spanning industries like enterprise technology, financial technology, and healthcare. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Excellent academic and professional record
• Between 2-4 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm and / or an investment role, ideally within the technology sector
• Highly motivated, well-rounded, team players
• Passionate about investing and want to build a long-term career at Goldman Sachs
• Strong financial analysis/modelling experience with robust analytical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
• Work effectively under pressure
• Keen to take on responsibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities
• Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors and external industry experts
• Performing due diligence
• Financing and closing investments
• Developing, monitoring and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies
