About The Position

The Associate Integrations Specialist Retailer Compliance is an early-career role designed to support both the Retailer Compliance Team and Sales Architecture function. This role plays a critical part in assisting with integration setup, technical support, and solution scoping for retailer compliance (EDI) projects. Working closely with Sales Architects, EDI Specialists, and API team members, this individual will help translate customer requirements into actionable tasks, support pre-sales discovery and documentation, and assist in the execution of integrations. This is a growth-oriented position with a clear path toward more advanced solutioning and integration ownership.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience or exposure to integrations, EDI, APIs, or technical support
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, or data formats (X12, XML, CSV)
  • Ability to follow structured processes and work with detailed technical information
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to EDI concepts, retailer compliance, or supply chain workflows
  • Familiarity with API tools (e.g., Postman) or integration workflows (SFTP/FTP)
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon) or 3PL/WMS systems
  • Background in SaaS, technical support, or customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Architects in scoping retailer compliance opportunities, including EDI, API, labeling, and reporting requirements
  • Assist in gathering and documenting customer requirements during discovery and scoping sessions
  • Help translate requirements into draft scopes of work, notes, and supporting documentation
  • Identify standard vs. custom integration needs and escalate as needed
  • Contribute to pricing inputs and solution documentation under guidance
  • Assist with pre-wired EDI and API integration setup and configuration
  • Support integration tasks including API key provisioning, cart setup, and system configuration
  • Participate in integration validation, testing, and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist with migrations and onboarding tasks under senior team guidance
  • Provide support for basic API and EDI issues
  • Perform data validation, file reviews, and issue identification
  • Troubleshoot common integration issues and escalate more complex problems
  • Support developers and customers with basic connectivity and platform questions
  • Partner with Internal Integrations, Expansion, and Customer Success teams
  • Ensure alignment between scoped solutions and operational capabilities
  • Support handoffs between pre-sales and implementation teams
  • Build foundational knowledge in EDI standards, API integrations, and WMS workflows
  • Develop understanding of retailer compliance requirements (e.g., EDI, UCC labels)
  • Participate in training and mentorship to grow into a more advanced integrations or solutioning role

Benefits

  • The targeted base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000.
