About The Position

This is an entry-level instructional design role that works independently and collaboratively as a member of a training development team responsible for the design, development and maintenance of new and existing e-learning and instructor-led training materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; degree in communication, English, instructional design, psychology, education, or similar fields is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint, preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and revise instructor-led and online training materials using authoring tools (PowerPoint, Articulate 360 suite) and via writing, research, storyboarding, design and quality assurance, as applicable
Execute instructional design techniques and strategies planned primarily by a lead or senior instructional designer
Work with subject matter experts and source materials to develop content for e-learning and instructor-led training programs
Maintain components of existing training materials using project templates, tools and process documentation.
Ensure process documentation remains up to date
Implement identified revisions and improvements to training programs based on stakeholder feedback, instructional design best practice and adult learning theory
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of instructional design best practices, learning industry developments and visual design principles
Ensure training projects are delivered within budget and on time through organization and prioritization of tasks and effective use of self-management skills
