About The Position
The Associate, Industrial Engineer performs a variety of industrial engineering tasks designed to provide experience and familiarity with manufacturing operations staff and the company’s programs, methods, and practices. The role is based on-site in Waco, Texas, follows a 9/80 schedule, and requires no travel.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, or a related field; or have completed a bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Perform operation analysis, variance analysis, and method improvement studies.
- Assist in auditing labor standards for accuracy.
- Assist in the economic evaluation of suggestions and method improvement studies.
- Prepare workflow, layout, sequence, manpower, and other related charts, graphs, and reports.
- Assist in capital expenditure analysis, justification, and forecasting.
- Assist in plant and office space planning for efficient and effective utilization.
- Assist in developing LEAN implementation plans and process improvement.
