About The Position

Provides human resources support to employees and supervisors within The Toro Company’s Perry manufacturing facility, a site of approximately 1,200 employees. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role implements HR processes and programs that promote fairness, consistency, and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of HR experience required.
  • Ability to be a change agent and influence teams to shift quickly as business needs evolve/change.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, coach and influence while gaining buy-in and driving results.
  • Must be able to exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of relevant human resources-related laws and regulations and the ability to conduct or assist with investigations, maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
  • Exceptional communication/ people skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Energetic, driven and enthusiastic, and able to cultivate a fast-paced, change-oriented workplace.
  • HRIS experience; Workday system is a plus.
  • Required to be local and able to come onsite daily to Perry campus.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily HR processes including onboarding, attendance tracking, performance-review coordination, and documentation management.
  • Provide timely, accurate responses to supervisor inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and general HR practices.
  • Maintain integrity of employee data, files, and reporting within Workday.
  • Prepare recurring reports and dashboards on attendance, turnover, corrective actions, and other HR metrics.
  • Advise supervisors on applying policies consistently and documenting performance or conduct issues appropriately.
  • Assist the HR Manager with investigations, follow-ups, and case tracking.
  • Help identify trends in attendance, engagement, and turnover to inform site initiatives.
  • Support execution of engagement activities, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives.
  • Ensure onboarding and orientation activities are executed consistently and effectively.
  • Coordinate site training sessions in partnership with the Talent COE and HR Manager.
  • Serve as a reliable HR resource to employees while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Audit HR files and records for compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of HR operations.
  • Support in implementing HR programs and initiatives that align site practices with enterprise priorities.
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous-improvement efforts as assigned.
  • Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and accountability for work outcomes.
