Requirements

5–10 years of direct experience in the safety profession, with a strong emphasis on training, hazard identification, and program development.
Proven experience delivering safety training in both classroom and virtual environments.
Demonstrated ability to assess site-specific hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building capabilities.
Background check and potential drug screening required for the position.
Residence within a reasonable commuting distance.

Nice To Haves

Previous consulting experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred).
OSHA 501 – Trainer for General Industry (preferred).
Recognized safety credentials such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or CSHO are highly desirable.
Current First Aid/CPR/AED instructor certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs including: HAZWOPER 8-hour and 24-hour, OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour (General Industry), NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety Leadership.
Conduct training in-person, via webinars, or through Learning Management Systems (LMS), including development of site-specific content.
Assist clients with the development, implementation, and maintenance of core safety programs such as: Emergency Action Plans, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens.
Perform hazard assessments and site inspections; generate written reports with corrective actions and recommendations.
Coordinate and manage training schedules and consulting engagements in alignment with client proposals.
Ensure timely completion of internal administrative tasks including time tracking, expense reporting, and documentation.
Design and customize safety training to meet client-specific regulatory requirements and workplace hazards.
