The Associate Head Coach – Men’s Basketball is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in administering an intercollegiate athletics program. This role involves performing Head Coach duties in their absence, ensuring compliance with all intercollegiate athletics rules and regulations, and participating in the effective recruiting, instruction, and coaching of student-athletes. A key focus is maintaining an environment where academics are a priority, ensuring student-athletes meet academic requirements and integrating sports into their academic lives. The position also assists in program planning and assessment, maintaining discipline, fostering cooperation, and participating in marketing and promotional activities. Additionally, the role involves assisting with recruiting evaluations and travel, and performing other assigned duties. This position also serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) with federally mandated responsibilities to report crimes.
