The Associate, GTB Product Specialist, under the supervision of the Corporate & Investment Banking Head of Trade Select, will have responsibility for the origination, structuring and execution of mandates obtained for Global Transaction Banking Trade products. Identify opportunities and successfully sell innovative GTB solutions to new-to-bank clients. This initiative will target the expansion of Santander’s portfolio of clients in the US and will be part of GTB’s Trade Origination Team. Act as secondary banker and product specialist for products under the GTB scope. Act as advisor, consultant, and first point of contact for clients’ ongoing GTB needs. Manage client journey from sales through implementation, and act as escalation point of contact. Manage the relationship between Santander and its clients including but not limited to managing the application and allocation of the bank’s credit risk appetite. Achieve business through developing new relationships and by maintaining and enhancing those revenue streams as manage the portfolio going forward. Adherence to internal processes to ensure control and transparency over sales activity.
