About The Position

We are seeking an Associate to play a critical role in building our platform within our US Investment Banking division. Associates will work with Analysts in the development of pitch books and related client materials. Associates will also be heavily involved in transaction execution, new business presentations and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting
  • Minimum of one year of Investment Banking experience
  • Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling
  • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
  • Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong teaming skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization
  • Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
  • Series 79 & 63 licensed

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth quantitative research and analysis across macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics, and individual companies
  • Develop and prepare client presentation materials, including detailed pitch books covering various Consumer & Retail sub-sectors
  • Build and maintain financial models, including valuation frameworks, trading comparables, and relative value assessments
  • Analyze and model a variety of strategic and financing alternatives for client engagements including, M&A, capital structure optimization, acquisition financing, and debt and equity capital markets transactions
  • Support live transaction execution through financial and operational due diligence, timeline management, and process coordination
  • Contribute to client relationship development and ongoing coverage efforts
  • Support the ongoing development of analysts, helping to cultivate technical expertise and professional growth
