About The Position

This role involves conducting quantitative research and analysis on macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and company fundamentals. The analyst will prepare client presentation materials, including pitch books and detailed industry overviews across Consumer & Retail sub-sectors. A key responsibility is building and maintaining financial models, such as DCF valuations, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analyses. The position also supports the evaluation of corporate finance alternatives, including M&A, capital structure optimization, acquisition financing, and debt capital markets transactions. Additionally, the analyst will assist in live deal execution by performing financial and operational due diligence, preparing transaction materials, and tracking workstreams. Collaboration with senior bankers to support client coverage and relationship development is also a core aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of full-time investment banking experience required
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Claude and ChatGPT
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 79 licenses
