•$200,000 - $225,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Pivotal Health is seeking a mid-level healthcare regulatory attorney from a top law firm or healthcare organization to handle a broad range of regulatory, operational, and contracting matters. The Associate General Counsel will own legal work involving provider billing and payer reimbursement disputes, including direct negotiations with health plans and developing processes to collect arbitration awards. The work is closely tied to the company’s revenue. The role combines reactive work—answering billing and reimbursement questions, negotiating payment disputes, and evaluating potential litigation—with proactive work alongside Product and Operations to translate legal judgment into systems, tools, and platform features. Contract review is a secondary priority, together with general legal counsel as needed. The role involves applying state and federal law to questions without clear precedent and creating legal processes where none currently exist.
