About The Position

Zelis is seeking an Associate General Counsel (Sales Commercial Counsel) to join its Sales Legal Team, supporting the company’s mission to transform the healthcare financial landscape. Serving more than 750 payers—including the top five national health plans—and millions of providers and consumers, Zelis delivers technology-driven solutions that optimize and simplify financial processes across the healthcare ecosystem. In this role, the Associate General Counsel will provide legal support and strategic advice to the Sales and Client Management teams. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements with clients and strategic partners, including Business Associate Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and more. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to resolve contractual, compliance, and regulatory matters, particularly those involving federal and state health insurance regulations, ERISA, and HIPAA. Requirements

  • At least five years of legal experience.
