About The Position

Hut 8 is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Corporate and Securities, to lead public company reporting, corporate governance, and capital markets activities at the forefront of technology, energy, and infrastructure. This high-impact role offers significant ownership of core public company functions and direct involvement in strategic growth, financing, and governance initiatives as Hut 8 continues to scale its data center operations for AI, Colocation, Cloud, and Bitcoin Mining. The Associate General Counsel will oversee the SEC reporting lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy, and related securities filings. The role partners closely with the Chief Legal Officer, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors on governance, disclosure, and Nasdaq compliance, while helping to build and scale the company’s public company infrastructure. Responsibilities include leading legal support for capital markets and financing transactions, managing governance processes and documentation, and collaborating cross-functionally on broader corporate, financing, and securities matters. Requirements

• Substantial experience advising public companies on SEC reporting, disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and capital markets transactions.
• Blend of top-tier law firm training and in-house experience.
• Strong business and legal judgment.
• Ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
