We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Reporting - IC2 to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Lake Mary FL
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in accounting preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with auditors, clients, and internal teams.
- People leadership experience (if applicable) or willingness to provide guidance to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and reviews accounting statements on behalf of clients.
- Assists in working with auditors and clients to ensure statements are accurately produced and verified on a timely basis.
- Reviews fund balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and statement of shareholders equity to ensure reported numbers are reconciled.
- Drafts accounting statements and reports, incorporating fund calculations, for clients to review fund performance.
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of disclosure and that financial reports meet Corporate and applicable regulatory standards.
- Assists in collaborating with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance.
- Assists in developing materials for presentation to Board of Directors.
- Escalates more complex accounting discrepancies to senior team members.
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members and may have people management responsibilities in some geographies.
