To learn more, visit www.blueowl.com We are seeking an Associate - Operations to assist with our employee leverage program and banking activity associated with our carried interest participant vehicles. Thus, we’re seeking someone that is familiar with the operational aspect of fund accounting such as capital calls and loans. Additionally, this person needs the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information; demonstrate an ability to prioritize assignments and complete work with little direction. The ideal candidate can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Short Hills, NJ.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • High level of professionalism
  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel developing formulas and macros.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly workloads
  • Ability to multitask while staying focused

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting or Finance degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of banking activity, such as opening accounts, creating wire templates and collaborating with offshore team to ensure daily cash activity is properly captured in Oracle.
  • Assist with the end-to-end capital call process from calculating the call, collecting the cash and processing the funding.
  • Own and maintain the administrative components of the carried interest software (Allvue Systems – Firmview), including participant and fund information.
  • Assist with the ongoing Employee Leverage Program compliance and onboarding of new pledged affiliates.
  • Provide white glove service to investors and borrowers through shared mailbox.
  • Provide tactical support for corporate-wide requests and special projects.
