Oregon State University’s School of Psychological Science in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Associate Professor or tenured Full Professor of Clinical Psychology. The position will help lead the emerging Clinical Science PhD program, added in Fall 2024 to the existing Psychology PhD program. Appointment at the Associate Professor rank is anticipated, though a higher rank may be considered based on qualifications. Hiring at the Associate Professor or Professor rank with indefinite tenure is subject to a successful out-of-cycle tenure review. This role is part of a multi-line, multi-year investment in clinical science research and teaching. The program emphasizes rigorous training in the science and practice of evidence-based interventions, reaching diverse populations who may lack access to mental health care, and the thoughtful use of technology in clinical psychological service. The School seeks a colleague in any area of clinical psychological science who will help shape a collaborative team committed to excellence in clinical research, practice, and training consistent with Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS) values. The successful candidate will conduct an active research program, teach four to five classes each academic year on a quarter system, mentor PhD students, and contribute service to the School, College, University, and broader professional community. The position is campus-based with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule. The anticipated start date is September 16, 2027. Salary will be commensurate with skills, education, and experience.
