As we continue to build out our US Facultative business, we are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset to join us on this ambitious journey of growth.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in a reinsurance, underwriting or related position & environment
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a business-related field
Interest in pursuing a career within Reinsurance
Proactive, creative and analytical thinker that works well independently and within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire and interest to pursue an opportunity that is involving client related tasks
Ability to apply mathematical thinking in the business and insurance environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong time management skills and project management skills
Detail oriented
Highly motivated and committed to continually developing your professional skillset
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Supporting brokers across the team
Creating pre & post placement materials
Constructing reinsurance submission materials
Tracking reinsurer quotes, authorizations, and communication
Building client presentations within PowerPoint
Reviewing/editing documents such as large datasets within Excel, and reinsurance contracts
Quantifying the impact of various reinsurance structures on individual large losses and/or insurance company financials
Researching market trends
