About The Position

The Associate Fabric Platform Engineer supports and administers Moody’s Fabric Platform and Power BI environment, driving reliable analytics, platform governance, and continuous innovation. The role supports platform analytics and reporting solutions, helps administer the Fabric tenant, manages gateways and integrations, and develops secure dashboards, reports, and metrics. It also contributes to solution lifecycle management, automated testing, troubleshooting, security, documentation, stakeholder communication, and ongoing learning about Fabric, Power BI, and related technologies. The position is part of the Corporate Systems team within the Technology Services Group. The team supports Moody’s core business and technology operations, partners with senior leaders, product teams, and enterprise stakeholders, and works to advance operational excellence and AI-enabled capabilities. For US-based roles, the anticipated hiring base salary range is $78,300–$113,550, depending on experience, education, level, skills, and location. The role is eligible for incentive compensation. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with customers and administrator teams to optimize platforms, resolve complex issues, and improve customer experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric Platform and Power BI for reporting and analytics, including troubleshooting issues.
Understanding of on-premises data gateway setup and management, data connections, and standard and premium connectors.
General knowledge of networking, Microsoft Office, Azure Services, and ServiceNow.
Basic programming skills in JSON, Python, and Power Automate for custom development and automation.
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Expertise in artificial intelligence and a track record of implementing AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency.
Experience using AI tools, managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

Support and monitor analytics and reporting solutions in Fabric Platform and Power BI, including customer service, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution.
Assist in administering the Fabric Platform tenant, including user management, security controls, Fabric agent lifecycle management, and solution deployments.
Configure and manage on-premises data gateways and integrate Fabric Platform solutions with external systems and APIs, including custom connector development.
Develop and maintain secure dashboards, reports, and metrics using Fabric and Power BI, collaborating with team members on reliable and compliant solutions.
Use version control systems such as GitHub and manage solution lifecycles, including CI/CD deployment pipelines, rollback, and versioning.
Apply automated testing, debugging, and security best practices, including role-based access control, data privacy, and compliance standards across cloud and hybrid environments.
Document processes, communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions, and contribute to knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
Participate in training programs, including Fabric admin and agentic AI training, and stay current with features and best practices in Fabric Platform, Power BI, and related technologies.
