A Safety & Environmental Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for applying knowledge of safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, science, and mathematics to identify, analyze, and resolve safety and environmental issues. Understanding of Safety & Environmental regulations and procedures. Familiar with industrial hygiene monitoring methods and equipment. Understanding of basic safety management practices. Familiar with Federal and State hazardous waste management requirements. Understanding of air pollution abatement. Knowledge of wastewater treatment and basic regulatory requirements. Knowledge of chemicals and gases used in semiconductor processes. Establish effective working relationships with fellow Safety & Environmental Engineers and other site employees.
