We are looking for a dedicated individual with project coordinator experience to join our Enterprise Project team as an Associate Enterprise Project Manager located on site at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, SC.

Requirements

  • Current experience as a project coordinator or experience as a project resource on large credit union projects.
  • Must have the ability to coordinate and direct internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of assigned projects.
  • Ability to recognize problems and evaluate alternatives to find solutions using a variety of different techniques.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and document technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • The successful candidate should demonstrate skills in leading projects ensuring project due dates are met with appropriate follow-up and reporting.
  • Associate Enterprise Project Manager must have the ability to work with the project team to thoroughly document, research and resolve project related questions or concerns.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead meetings and teams comprised of vendors, technical and non-technical peers, and business owners.
  • Pre-employment credit verification, background check, and drug screen is required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of previous financial institution experience with a thorough understanding of credit union processes and procedures preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing project-related software like Smartsheet and Microsoft Project is preferred; training will be provided for the qualified candidate.
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred or must attain certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Experience or participation with the creation of business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Managing small-scale projects, potentially multiple at one time.
  • Defining project scope and requirements in collaboration with Enterprise Project Managers and the business, ensuring stakeholder inclusion.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and informing stakeholders of impactful changes.
  • Reporting on project status and escalating to management as necessary, ensuring project visibility.
  • Proactively engaging project sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinating vendor selection, management, and due diligence with the assistance of EPMs.
  • Ensuring necessary execution of test plans for projects are completed as part of the project implementation process.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation in relation to EPM Governance and EPM Framework guidelines.
  • Ensuring all project requests are accurately entered into the portfolio management tool and approved prior to project initiation.
  • Maintaining project schedule, RAID Logs, and expenses for assigned projects, and communicating critical issues to stakeholders and management.
  • Following documented change control procedures and processes, and updating project scope if necessary.
  • Working with project resources to ensure the team is evaluating legal and compliance impact related to assigned projects.
  • Protecting company data, respecting and protecting the privacy of information, and its integrity and confidentiality.
  • Adhering to the principle of least privilege to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to critical systems or sensitive data.
  • Attending conferences and training as required to gain proficiency.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
